Two Strong Efforts Boost Confidence For Hamilton |
| |
BECHTELSVILLE, PA - Jason Hamilton received a much-needed shot in the arm Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.
Following a sixth-place finish in the heldover NASCAR Whelen All-American Series 358-Modified feature from May 23, Hamilton rolled off the grid sixth for the nightcap feature.
Running a consistent, steady race, Hamilton brought the Beer City No. 15 home in fourth spot, beating Duane Howard to the line.
"We're there, but we need to be a lot better," Hamilton said. "Having a top-10 and a top-five tonight was good for us and it definitely helps the finances."
The strong finishes elevated Hamilton to 11th in the track's point standings, despite his slow start.
Racing resumes for Hamilton Saturday at Grandview. |
