Rain Shuts Down Grandview Racing

BECHTELSVILLE, PA - Rain moved over Grandview Speedway prior to the start of Saturday night's NASCAR Whelen All-American Series 358-Modified 30-lap feature.

Heats and consolations for the small-block Mods were completed and the URC Sprint Car main was on the track when the precipitation moved over.

Jason Hamilton was the recipient of the final starting spot in the feature when Tom Umbenhauer, who had qualified in Norm Hansell's No. 357, scratched from the field.

Hamilton will start last in the event when it is run on July 25.

Racing resumes for Hamilton and the Beer City team Saturday at Grandview.
